TOPS Annual sports meet 18th August 2022.
Even though the Sports Day is past us now, the buzz and chatter still hasn’t left the corridors! This year’s TOPS Annual sports meet was held on 18th August 2022. The Chief Guest on this occasion Mr. J. Velayutham Physical Director Bhavans Rajaji Vidhyashram Chennai, who accomplished in sports
as a referee in national football tournaments, Santhosh Trophy football, ISL, etc. Also, inauguration formalities and sports meet open was declared by the chief guest in the presence of dignitaries Chairman Mr.W.R.Mahendra Varman B.A, Correspondent Ms. Y. Vinodhini B.E, MBA, Managing
Director Mr. W.M. Kamal Raghavan BE,MS(London) and Director of Finance Mr. S Yuvaraj BE. Students from LKG to grade IX showcased their skills through varies drills and formations. The eyelids are not closed from the audience side when our grade VI to IX students started to form pyramids
with different formations. At the end, our students proved their ultimate talent through grand finale dance. The entire school students took part in many events and games. The Individual championship recognizes the true spirit of sportsmanship. Under the junior level Boy – Aaryas. P of Grade III and Girl- Lakshana K of Grade IV are the winners. Under Senior Level Boy- Prajith. S of Grade IX and Girl- Mohanapriya. J of Grade IX are the winners.
The enthusiasm and energy brought the whole school together. What was really pleasing to the eye was that even the non – prize winners were enjoying with true sportsmanship.
Overall championship was taken over by Jagrti House and runner up by Smriti House. The entire event in charge was taken by our physical education teacher Mr. Haridoss with the guidance of the Principal and Vice principal. All the staffs of academic as well as admin joined their hand together as a team and work for this utmost success level. A sincere effort in the field of sports will always lead to success and it will continue…
