On the occasion of International Literacy Day, the students of grade 9 conducted their class assembly on 9 September2022 with respect Literacy day. The students enacted the Mime show to give an insight into the fact that “Literacy is a human right and the basis of all knowledge ” in which, the students understood the value of education. The children performed in a marvelous way with their beautiful expressions and holding posters that symbolise ‘Literacy’.Through their mime, they insisted on the need to educate more people, so that the world can begin its journey towards a better tomorrow. One of the students was given the opportunity to deliver a speech on Literacy, which emphasized the foundation stone to build a more sustainable future for all. Our vice principal Ms.Sangeetha brought the assembly to an end and instilled a few words to the students by creating an awareness of being illiterate and the benefits of being literate.
